Preface

This manual specifies Dallas College (DC) guidelines and procedures for Work-based Learning Experiences (WBLE). WBLE is the term used by the State of Texas for all on-site work experience based courses. This applies to all Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) approved technical/occupational programs and is based upon the Guidelines for Instructional Programs in Workforce Education (GIPWE).
