CHEF 1205 - Sanitation and Safety (2 Credit Hours) Campus Location: BHC, CVC, EFC, ECC, MVC, NLC, RLC
A study of personal cleanliness; sanitary practices in food preparation; causes, investigation, control of illness caused by food contamination (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points); and workplace safety standards. This course must be completed with a grade of “C” or better. Licensing/Certification Agency: National Restaurant Association Education Foundation.
