The purpose of this program is to prepare students for entry-level employment as an automotive technician. This program reflects a building-block approach from simple to complex and includes theory, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of automobiles. Emphasis is placed on operational theory, practical skills, and accepted shop procedures related to transmission service.
