Construction managers work in all phases of the construction business - public and private owners; small multi-family projects to the largest of skyscrapers and industrial projects; rural highways to major interstates. Whatever the project, CMs keep the project on track and within budget. Working closely with architects, engineers, owners and the various contractors on a job, the construction manager’s duties are varied, challenging, and rewarding, both emotionally and financially. The Rising Construction Manager Occupational Skills Award will provide students with the foundational skills to begin their careers as Construction Managers.
