The Weld Fabrication Occupational Skills Award and the AAS consist of the same welding courses. The only difference between them is the AAS requires a small amount of additional academic coursework that the Occupational Skills Award does not require.
Upon completion, students should possess the skills and knowledge for successful careers in welding.
