The Geographic Information Systems Technology Program Occupational Skills Award would prepare graduates to perform entry-level duties of a Geographical Information Systems (GIS) industry. Students would be able to use GIS technology to support fundamental tasks such as digitizing and data population; share data via web GIS portals; and document accuracies and completeness of data. The program combines classroom and laboratory experience.
