The Theatrical Construction Certificate prepares the student for an entry-level job in a theatrical scene shop. Students must complete all DRAM and DRTE courses with a “C” or better to be awarded this certificate.

DRTE 1376 - Scenic Construction I (3 Credit Hours)
DRTE 1372 - Drafting for Theater (3 Credit Hours)

Semester 2

DRAM 1121 - Theater Practicum II (1 Credit Hours)
DRTE 1170 - Theatrical Rigging (1 Credit Hours)
DRTE 1375 - Scenic Painting (3 Credit Hours)
DRTE 1270 - Props Construction (2 Credit Hours)
DRTE 2370 - Scenic Construction II (3 Credit Hours)

Semester Total: 10 Credit Hours

Semester 3 (Summer)

DRAM 2289 - Academic Cooperative (2 Credit Hours)

Semester Total: 2 Credit Hours

Minimum Hours Required: 22 Credit Hours
