Students pursuing this award program are required to meet Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards and course prerequisites.
Complete at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College.

Required for Admission: Completion of the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Interior Design

To support ongoing professional development, the Interior Design Micro-Credential Advanced Technical Certificate is tailored for those who have already earned an AAS degree in Interior Design and are seeking additional interior design focused education credits to qualify for the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) exam. This advanced certificate ensures graduates meet the stringent educational requirements needed to excel in the competitive interior design industry.

All students must achieve a grade of “C” or better in all required courses.

While we recommend student admissions to begin our program in the fall term, students should plan for additional semesters to complete all coursework should courses be taken outside of the sequential programmatic pathway.
