The first year of electrical apprentice training is an Introduction to the electrical industry and includes basic electrical theory, forming electrical conduit using appropriate formulas, and calculations typically used in DC series, parallel, and combination circuits. Additionally, students study electrical safety and receive certifications in OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) 10-Hour and First Aid/CPR.
