Students will learn advanced mathematical techniques for circuit analysis and how to apply those in the planning, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing of electrical equipment in the field. Apprentices will also further develop skills in interpreting the NFPA 70 NEC, with a heavy focus on grounding and bonding. Safety topics in 3rd year focus on arc flash PPE, shock protection, and how to properly rig and hoist heavy loads.
