Students will study luminaires, electric motors, and motor circuit calculations.  Students obtain an introductory study of the hardware, programming language, and wiring of Programmable Logic Controllers, as well as an in-depth study of magnetic motor control devices and operational circuits.  Additionally, the 4th year includes an in-depth study into the NEC’s special chapters which focus on hazardous locations and special locations.
