Students will focus on completing the requirements of TDLR (Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation) to obtain a Journeyman Electrical License. They will also focus on leadership development skills used every day in the electrical construction industry. Apprentices will also learn about niche electrical markets such as photovoltaic systems, electric vehicle supply equipment, intrusion detection, and structured cabling. Apprentices are required to complete OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) 30 while in 5th year.
