Students pursuing this certificate are waived from the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards, but must meet course prerequisites.
Complete at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College.

Degree Plan Code: C1.CNBT.RESIDENTIAL

This is a one-year certificate that provides the student with the technical knowledge and hands-on skills required to work as a craftperson in Residential Building, Carpentry, or Contracting. In addition, the student will cover basic planning and materials estimating, problem solving, and human relations skills.

*CNBT 2281 Cooperative Education-Construction Engineering Technology/Technician may only be taken in SEMESTER II and may only be taken with instructor approval.
