Students pursuing this certificate are waived from the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards, but must meet course prerequisites.
Complete at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College.

The courses in the Occupational Skills Award in Professional Accountancy will satisfy the additional licensing requirements for students who have passed the Uniform CPA Exam. This 12-credit hour award will fulfill the additional required accounting credit hours and 3 credit hours of Ethics for the State of Texas Certified Public Accountant Licensure requirements.

The intent of the program is to increase the quality and number of competent and ethical candidates who have passed the Uniform CPA exam and need to fulfill requirements to become licensed.
