General Exam Schedule Guidelines

General Guidelines
Final exam schedule guidance for 16-week and Flex Term classes (including 8-week classes):
- Faculty teaching 16-week classes and 8-week classes in the second 8 weeks of the semester should use the exam schedule below. For the second 8-week courses, if time conflicts arise, rooms can be reserved for final exams.
- Faculty teaching Flex Term (classes 15 weeks or less, including 8-week courses in the first 8 weeks of the semester) should continue to hold final exams on the last regular class day of the term.
- The schedule below allows final exam times of either 80 or 110 minutes, per your course requirements and syllabus.
- The schedule below focuses on when your course BEGINS, not when the bulk of the course occurs or when it ends.
- If a course has a non-traditional start time (e.g., 10:05 a.m. Monday and Wednesday), please use the start time just prior to your class start time (in the table below) to find your exam day and time. This will avoid room conflicts.
- For classes with a lab, use the time the LECTURE begins, not the lab time, to determine the final exam time.
- For non-traditional classes, such as clinicals, internships, practicums, and other off-campus classes, final exams should be given on the last day of the term.
Spring 2025 Final Exam Schedule
Dallas College Final Exams for Spring 2025 are scheduled for May 12 to May 15, 2025.
Faculty teaching 16-week classes and 8-week classes in the second 8 weeks of the semester should use the exam schedule below.
Faculty teaching Flex Term (classes 15 weeks or less, including 8-week courses in the first 8 weeks of the semester) should continue to hold final exams on the last regular class day of the term.
