Campus Police Departments

Campus safety and security is provided within the framework of state and local laws to protect the campus community and all grounds controlled by Dallas College. All state laws apply to the college community. Dallas College Police Department officers are licensed Peace Officers of the State of Texas; they are specifically trained and educated to protect life and property. These officers are vested with full authority to enforce all Texas laws and rules, regulations and college policies, including the Code of Student Conduct .

Dallas College complies with the provisions of the Campus Security Act of 1990, Public Law 101-542. Copies of the document for each campus are available upon request through the campus Police Department.
