CDEC 1341 - CDA Preparation for Assessment (3 Credit Hours)

Preparation for the Child Development Associate (CDA) credential assessment includes writing CDA competency statements, completing a CDA professional resource file, and preparing for formal CDA observation and assessment. Licensing/Certification Agency: Council for Professional Recognition, Washington D.C.

Prerequisites: Required: Meet with your assigned School of Education Senior Success Coach for enrollment and course requirements.
Corequisites/Concurrent: Students will be required to submit to and pass a criminal background search by the certification date as prescribed by the program and college. Failure to comply will result in the student being dropped from the course.
