CDEC 1359 - Children with Special Needs (3 Credit Hours)

Campus Location: BHC, CVC, EFC, ECC, MVC, NLC, RLC

A survey of information regarding children with special needs including possible causes and characteristics of exceptionalities, intervention strategies, available resources, referral processes, the advocacy role, and legislative issues.

Corequisites/Concurrent: Students will be required to submit to and pass a criminal background search by the certification date as prescribed by the program and college. Failure to comply will result in the student being dropped from the course.
