EDEL 4301 - Methods of Teaching Social Studies (3 Credit Hours)

Design and organization of content, materials and instructional strategies for social studies programs in elementary schools. Field-based course.

Prerequisites: Required: Concurrent enrollment and acceptance into the Educator Preparation Program (EPP) are required or consent of department dean. A minimum of a 2.75 GPA is required for all upper-level courses in the BAS (Bachelor of Applied Science) ECE (Early Childhood Education) program. Additional course specific prerequisites may apply.
