ESOL 0043 - ESOL Reading (2 Credit Hours)

This course builds upon the skills introduced in ESOL 0042, emphasizing critical thinking skills including identifying author’s purpose, tone and point of view; predicting outcomes; and drawing conclusions. Students identify and paraphrase stated and implied main ideas.

Prerequisites: Required: Successful completion of ESOL 0042 with a grade of C or better or appropriate placement test score.
