GOVT 2305 - Federal Government (3 Credit Hours) Campus Location: BHC, CVC, EFC, ECC, MVC, NLC, RLC
Origin and development of the U.S. Constitution, structure and powers of the national government including the legislative, executive, and judicial branches, federalism, political participation, the national election process, public policy, civil liberties and civil rights.
Prerequisites: Required : College level ready in Reading and Writing. Introduction IMPORTANT: GOVT 2301 and 2302 were only offered through summer 2013. Beginning fall 2013, state policy mandated only GOVT 2305 and GOVT 2306 to be offered. Please consult with an advisor to discuss your options for completing the government requirements.
