A health-related work-based learning experience in a medical-surgical setting that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills, and concepts. Direct supervision is provided by the clinical professional.

Prerequisites: Required: ENGL 1301; BIOL 2401; RNSG 1301 OR RNSG 1311; MATH 1314 OR MATH 1342; Admission to the Professional Nursing Program.
Corequisites/Concurrent: RNSG 1413, RNSG 1105.
