VTHT 1291 - Special Topics in Veterinarian Assistant/Animal Health Technician (2 Credit Hours)

Campus Location: CVC

This course addresses the role of the veterinary technician in managing clinical cases in equine practice. Using case scenarios students will recognize common clinical presentations, explain the purpose of diagnostic tests ordered by the veterinarian, and describe the role of the veterinary technician in implementing treatment ordered by the veterinarian.

Prerequisites: Required : VTHT 2205 , VTHT 1349 , VTHT 2223 .
