VTHT 2209 - Food Animal Clinical Management (2 Credit Hours) Campus Location: CVC
Survey of feeding, common management practices, and care of food producing animals in a clinical setting. Review of common diseases of food producing animals encountered in the practice of veterinary medicine. The student will demonstrate sanitation and disease prevention techniques; utilize medication procedures; implement principles of nutrition, reproduction, and behavior of food producing animals in a clinical setting; and differentiate between common disease pathophysiologies.
Prerequisites: Required : Acceptance to the Veterinary Technology Program. Background Search Required: No
